Welcome to the webpage of South Roxana Elementary, the home of the Bulldogs. South Roxana Elementary (SRE) is part of the Roxana CUSD #1. We are an elementary school services approximately 450 students in grades PreK through 5.

Our students are provided with a curriculum that is rich in language arts and mathematics as well as science, social sciences, technology and health. The students at South Roxana are also able to attend PE, music, and art classes weekly. We are also very fortunate to have our own Outdoor Classroom and pavilion on our campus for students to experience hands learning activities about nature and our environment.

The teachers and staff at South are passionate about students and their learning. They are dedicated to providing them a positive school experience that not only prepares the students academically, but social and emotionally as well. We offer a variety of programs to help our students develop to their full potential such as Character Education, Art Club, Bulldog Fitness, and Recycling Club.

I am anxious to begin my third year at South Roxana Elementary as the building principal. I am excited to partner with you in your child’s education.
